Hi , my name is Linda , ​

I started my career as a fulltime college student at the age of 16 where my passion and creativity started to grow from becoming an Artistic Director at Browns salon to managing salons both in the UK and abroad . This is where my passion for teaching  my skills developed and I was soon studying the Regulated Teaching Qualifications and working at New College Durham as a Course Tutor on the level 2 and 3 hairdressing NVQ courses.

I quickly  graduated with  the PGCE and continued to gain valuable experience within the F/E education sector. After relocating back to Essex from the North East I worked at The London College of Beauty Therapy ,who at the time was exanding into the Hairdressing sector. My role as programme co-ordinator gave me experience in setting up the Hairdressing Training salon and Qualifications at LCBT.

From London I relocated to Tenerife  where I was approached to set up a Hair and Beauty Training Academy partnering with Britannia School. This was a first on the island and it was very exciting times.

On my return home to the UK I worked at Thurrock and Basildon college delivering and coordinating the regulated Hairdressing Qualifications.  My true passion is supporting and nurturing growth in others , especially industry professionals .​

I am privileged to now work as a Independant End Point Assessor for the Hairdressing Qualifications . I am constantly looking for new ways to grow in my knowledge and I continue to work very closely with the Hair and Beauty Industries.

I love our industries and want to share my knowledge of working in Further Education and the Teaching and Education experiences that i have gained over the last 25 years , by offering Qualifications that are generic and bringing them to the Hair and Beauty industries with easy to understand vocabulary.​
